Billard Aboriginal Community is located on the Dampier Peninsula in the remote north-west Kimberley region of Western Australia.
The Cape Leveque Road which runs up the Dampier Peninsula from Broome to Cape Leveque is mostly corrugated between Broome and Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community with bitumenised sections in the northern part only. The road does become impassable at times due to flooding during the wet season.
As you make your way to Billard Aboriginal Community on the Cape Leveque Road, you will notice some informative signs during your journey.
